1. Apply for admission in Australia

First, you need to identify your academic needs which will help you in achieving your career goals. You should also consider other aspects such as Fees, Location and Course duration. Once you are done with researching, now is the time to apply to that university/school in Australia for admission. Once you have applied and if the university finds you eligible, you will get OL . After that you will be issued COE (Confirmation of enrolment) once you pay for 1-semester fee (for uni) or 1 term fee (for Diploma courses). For onshore students, we highly recommend to get COE before applying for visa renewal.

Sometimes you are required to submit evidence of financial support at the time of applying for Admission. Requirements may vary from college to college.

 2. Buy OSHC (Overseas Student Health cover)

Once you have received confirmation of enrolment, you will be required to buy (Overseas Student Health Cover) OSHC is insurance to assist international students to meet the costs of medical and hospital care that they may need while in Australia. OSHC will also pay limited benefits for pharmaceuticals and ambulance services. (Source: Australian Government, Health Department)

3. Undertake Medical Examination

Once you have covered the previous steps, You will be required to take a medical examination by one of the doctors approved by the immigration department of Australia.

4, Document Check

Next step will be applying for Visa but before that, you are required to check documents which will be required during the submission of visa application process. Here the list of documents you should have:

  1. Passport
  2. Proof of Temporary Stay
  3. Identification documents – Birth Certificate 
  4. Bank Statement – To prove that you are financially capable of studying in Australia.
  5. IELTS Test Result
  6. Criminal offense document if any.
